Instrument Panel Compartment Door Latch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the instrument panel (I/P) storage compartment.




2. Remove the screws retaining the storage compartment handle assembly.
3. Remove the handle assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the handle assembly the storage compartment.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the screws retaining the handle assembly to the storage compartment. Tighten the screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).
3. Ensure the handle assembly is working properly.
