Heater Inlet Rear Hose Replacement

J 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill))Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) (Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill)).




2. Disconnect the heater inlet rear hose quick connect fitting (1) at the heater core.
3. Reposition the heater inlet rear hose clamp (3) using the J 38185 - pliers and remove the heater inlet rear hose from the heater inlet pipe.
4. Remove the heater inlet rear hose (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the heater inlet rear hose (2).
2. Reposition the heater inlet rear hose clamp (3) using the J 38185 - pliers and install the heater inlet rear hose to the heater inlet pipe.
3. Connect the heater inlet rear hose quick connect fitting (1) at the heater core.
4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill))Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) (Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill)).
