Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side




Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the engine shield if equipped. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Support the engine using a jack stand and a block of wood.
4. Remove the engine mount-to-frame bracket through bolt for the mount being replaced.
5. Loosen the left side through bolt.
6. Raise the engine using the jack stand. The engine will tilt to one side.




7. Remove the engine mount bolts.
8. Remove the engine mount. You will need to articulate the mount in order to remove the mount.

Installation Procedure

Note: You will need to articulate the mount in order to install the mount.

1. Install the engine mount.




2. Install the engine mount bolts.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. To aid in the installation of the bolts, start a bolt in position (1) first. Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).
4. Lower the engine.




5. Install the engine mount-to-frame bracket through bolt and tighten to 85 Nm (63 lb ft).
6. Remove the jack stand.
7. Install the engine shield if equipped. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement (Service and Repair).
8. Install the wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
