1	Instrument Panel Compartment Retainers (Qty: 2) Procedure Twist the compartment retainers and pull outward to remove.
2	Instrument Panel Compartment Assembly Procedure Squeeze the sides of the compartment, and open the compartment beyond the stops. Unsnap the instrument panel compartment assembly from the instrument panel. When replacing the instrument panel compartment, transfer all necessary components. When reinstalling the instrument panel compartment assembly ensure the instrument panel compartment dampener arm is aligned properly to the dampener gear assembly.

Procedure

Squeeze the sides of the compartment, and open the compartment beyond the stops.
Unsnap the instrument panel compartment assembly from the instrument panel.
When replacing the instrument panel compartment, transfer all necessary components.
When reinstalling the instrument panel compartment assembly ensure the instrument panel compartment dampener arm is aligned properly to the dampener gear assembly.
