Turbocharger Heat Shield Installation

  1. Install the 2 turbocharger heat shield spacer (1).
  2. Install the turbocharger heat shield (2).
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the 2 turbocharger heat shield bolts (3) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Install the turbocharger heat shield nut (4) and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  5. Install the catalytic converter bracket (4).
  6. Install the catalytic converter brace bracket nut (3) and tighten to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
  7. Install the catalytic converter brace bracket bolt (2) and tighten to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
