Power Brake Booster Vacuum Check Valve and Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the vacuum brake booster check valve from the vacuum brake booster.
2. Remove the vacuum brake booster hose clamp at the check valve.
3. Remove the vacuum brake booster check valve from the hose.
4. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement (RPOs LY2, LY6) (Service and Repair)Intake Manifold Replacement (RPOs LC9, LMG, LY5, L76) (Service and Repair)Intake Manifold Replacement (Except RPOs LY2, LY6, LC9, LMG, LY5, ) (Service and Repair).




5. Disconnect the vacuum brake booster hose at the engine.
6. Remove the vacuum brake booster hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the vacuum brake booster hose at the engine.
2. Install the vacuum brake booster check valve to the hose.
3. Install the vacuum brake booster hose clamp to the check valve.
4. Install the vacuum brake booster check valve to the vacuum brake booster.
