Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement .
  3. Support the transmission with a transmission jack.

  4. Remove the transmission mount nuts (1, 2).

  5. Remove the transmission mount bracket bolts (1, 2).
  6. Using the transmission jack, lift the transmission just enough to gain clearance for tilting the transmission mount.
  7. Remove the transmission mount bracket bolt (3).

  8. Remove the transmission mount (2) and bracket (1) from the vehicle.
