Preliminary Procedures Remove the left windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement - Left Side . Remove the instrument panel upper trim panel with windshield defroster nozzle. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel with Windshield Defroster Nozzle Grille Replacement (Acadia w/RPO UV6) or Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel with Windshield Defroster Nozzle Grille Replacement (Acadia w/o RPO UV6) or Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel with Windshield Defroster Nozzle Grille Replacement (Enclave) or Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel with Windshield Defroster Nozzle Grille Replacement (Outlook) . Remove the left instrument panel outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Access Hole Cover Replacement (Acadia) or Instrument Panel Compartment Access Hole Cover Replacement (Enclave) or Instrument Panel Compartment Access Hole Cover Replacement (Outlook) .
1	Instrument Panel Left Trim Panel Screw (Qty: 3) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)
2	Instrument Panel Left Trim Panel Procedure: When replacing the trim panel, transfer all necessary components.
3	Retainer Clip (Qty: 2)
