Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition ON, verify that the HUD is present.
- If the HUD is not present, refer to HUD Inoperative .
- Ignition ON, verify that when the HUD switches are pressed and released the HUD scan tool parameters toggle between Active and Inactive.
- If the parameters do not toggle between Active and Inactive, refer to HUD Switch Malfunction .
- Ignition ON, verify that when the HUD off/dimming switch is adjusted the intensity of the HUD changes.
- If the HUD does not change intensity, refer to HUD Intensity Does Not Vary .
