HUD Intensity Does Not Vary

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the HUD module.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the B+ voltage circuit terminal 6 and the HUD off/dimming switch signal circuit terminal 5.
  3. Ignition ON, verify that the test lamp illuminates and changes intensity when the HUD off/dimming switch is adjusted from low to high intensity.
    • If the test lamp does not vary in intensity, test the signal circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the HUD switch.
  4. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the HUD module.
