Low and Reverse Band Servo Assembly Assemble

  1. Install the new low and reverse accumulator piston oil seal rings (67, 69) on the 1-2 accumulator piston (68). Lubricate the low and reverse accumulator piston oil seal rings (67, 69) with DEXRON®VI automatic transmission fluid.

  3. Install the 1-2 accumulator piston spring assembly (88) into the low and reverse band servo piston (65).
  4. Install the 1-2 accumulator piston (68).

  6. Assemble the following items, in order, onto the small diameter end of the correct low and reverse band servo piston pin (73):
    1. The low and reverse band servo piston spring retainer (72)
    2. The low and reverse band servo piston spring (71)
    3. The low and reverse band servo piston spacer (87)
    4. The low and reverse band servo piston (65)
  7. Install the low and reverse band servo piston pin retainer ring (64).

  9. Install the new low and reverse band servo piston seal (66). Lubricate the low and reverse band servo piston seal (66) with DEXRON®VI automatic transmission fluid.
