Lower Intake Manifold Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the fuel injectors and fuel rail.
2. Remove the lower intake manifold bolts (1).
3. Remove the lower intake manifold and gasket from engine. Discard the gasket.
4. Clean and inspect the intake manifold and the sealing surfaces.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the lower intake manifold gasket.
2. Install the lower intake manifold bolts (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the fuel injectors and fuel rail.

Tighten the bolts to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).
