Cylinder Head Removal - Left

  1. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor, if applicable.

  3. Remove the engine coolant temperature gage sensor, if applicable.

  5. Remove the spark plugs.

  7. Remove the bolts and the spark plug wire support.

  9. Remove the cylinder head bolts and discard.

    NOTE: After removal, place the cylinder head on 2 wood blocks in order to prevent damage to the sealing surfaces.
  11. Remove the cylinder head.

  13. Remove and discard the cylinder head gasket.

  15. Remove the cylinder head locator dowel pins, if required.
