Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installation

Tools Required 

J 44645  Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installer. See Special Tools .

  1. Lubricate the crankshaft sealing surface with engine oil.
  2. Place the crankshaft front oil seal onto the crankshaft.
  3. Install the J 44645  to the crankshaft. See Special Tools .
  4. Press the crankshaft front oil seal onto the crankshaft with the J 44645  until the tool bottoms out. See Special Tools .

  5. Remove the J 44645  . See Special Tools .
