Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector (1).

  3. Remove the TP sensor screws.

  4. NOTE: The TP sensor is an electrical component. Do not soak the TP sensor in any liquid cleaner or solvent, as damage may result.

  5. Remove the TP sensor.
