Installation Procedure

Coat a NEW O-ring seal with a thin film of Synchro-mesh transmission fluid GM P/N 12345349 (Canadian P/N 10953465), or equivalent.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install VSS and O-ring seal.

Tighten: Tighten VSS to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
Connect VSS electrical connector (1).
