Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE: Broken or deteriorated mounts can cause misalignment and destruction of certain drive train components. When a single mount breaks, remaining mounts are subjected to abnormally high stresses.
  1. Raise and suitably support vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove transmission mount to crossmember nut.

  3. Remove transmission mount to transmission bolts.

  4. Raise transmission just enough in order to permit removal of mount using a suitable transmission jack.
  5. Remove transmission mount.
