Removal Procedure

  1. Remove transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
  2. Remove clutch actuator cylinder bolts.
  3. Remove clutch actuator cylinder.

  4. Remove input shaft bearing retainer bolts.

    Remove input shaft bearing retainer.

    Screw 2 of removed bolts into threaded holes in retainer in order to remove retainer.

  5. Using a hammer and a punch, remove transmission housing front oil seal from input shaft bearing retainer.

  6. Remove old gasket material from input shaft bearing retainer.
