Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

IMPORTANT: The flywheel spacer (if applicable) must be removed prior to pilot bearing installation.

Install a 5/8 inch washer (1) onto the J 38836 or equivalent.
Install a NEW clutch pilot bearing (2) onto the tool.

Install the NEW clutch pilot bearing into the crankshaft using J 38836 .

Inspect the clutch pilot bearing for proper installation.

Install the clutch assembly. Refer to Clutch Assembly Replacement .
