Disassembly of Shift Valve Body

  1. Using J 43773  (2), compress the shift valve 1 spring until retaining clip (1) is loose. See Special Tools . Remove retaining clip (1).

  3. Remove the spring (2) and shift valve 1 (1).

  5. Using J 43773  (2), compress the shift valve 3 spring until the retaining clip (1) is loose. See Special Tools . Remove retaining clip (1).

  7. Remove plug (3), spring (2), and shift valve 3 (1).

  9. Using J 43773  (2), compress the shift valve 2 spring until the retaining clip (1) is loose. See Special Tools . Remove the retaining clip (1).

  11. Remove plug (3), spring (2), and shift valve 2 (1).

  13. Using J 43773  (2), compress the control main valve spring until retaining clip (1) is loose. See Special Tools . Remove retaining clip (1).

  15. Remove spring (2) and control main valve (1).

  17. Remove solenoid screen (1).
