Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission oil cooler lines to the vehicle.

  2. Connect the cooling lines to the transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Line Quick Connect Fitting .
  3. Install the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement in Frame and Underbody.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Connect the transmission fluid cooler lines to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Line Quick Connect Fitting .

  6. Connect the transmission fluid cooler hose to the Auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Line Quick Connect Fitting .

  7. Install the front grille. Refer to Grille Replacement (GMC) or Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) in Exterior Trim.
