Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement (Crew Cab)

Preliminary Procedures Position the door window as needed for service. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (YE9) or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (SLT) . Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
1	Rear Outside Door Handle Bolt (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tip: Release the outside handle rod from the lock retainer clip. Release the lock cylinder rod from the door lock. Remove the outside door handle with the rod attached. Tighten: 7 N.m (62 lb in)
2	Rear Side Door Outside Handle Tip: Transfer the handle rod to the new handle.

Position the door window as needed for service.
Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (YE9) or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (SLT) .
Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

Rear Outside Door Handle Bolt (Qty: 2)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tip:

Release the outside handle rod from the lock retainer clip.
Release the lock cylinder rod from the door lock.
Remove the outside door handle with the rod attached.

Tighten: 7 N.m (62 lb in)

Rear Side Door Outside Handle
Tip: Transfer the handle rod to the new handle.
