Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the gear indicator switch.
Tighten: Tighten the switch to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

Connect the gear indicator switch electrical connector (2).
Install the transfer case shield, if equipped. Refer to Transfer Case Shield Replacement .
