Conditions for Setting the DTC

Either of the following conditions must occur twice during the same trip:
Condition 1
- The TCM commands third gear.
- The resulting gear ratio is 1.59:1-1.75:1.
- All conditions are met for 2 seconds.
Condition 2
- The TCM commands fourth gear.
- The resulting gear ratio is 2.9:1-3.2:1.
- All conditions are met for 2 seconds.
