Installation Procedure

- Install the auxiliary oil cooler to the vehicle.
- Install the bolts (1) and the push pins (2) that retain the auxiliary oil cooler to the radiator brace.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
- Connect the transmission oil cooler lines to the auxiliary cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement .
- Install the radiator grille. Refer to Radiator Grille Replacement (GMC) or Radiator Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) .
- Check and add transmission fluid as necessary.
