Preliminary Procedure: Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to One-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement or Two-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement .
1	Transfer Case Output Shaft Seal Procedure Remove the seal using a flat-bladed tool. Install the seal with the notch at the top and the weep hole at the bottom. Tip: Use the appropriate seal installer depending on application. Special Tools DT-48021 Seal Installer (Heavy Duty) DT-48210 Seal Installer (Light Duty) J 8092 Drive Handle
