Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve cooler. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Cooler Replacement .
  2. Remove the turbocharger oil feed pipe banjo bolt and washer.
  3. Reposition the turbocharger oil feed pipe out of the way.

  5. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the turbocharger vane control solenoid valve.

  7. Remove the turbocharger vane control solenoid valve bracket bolt (1) and bracket (2).
  8. Remove the turbocharger vane control solenoid valve (3) from the turbocharger.
