Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement (L92 - First Design)  or Intake Manifold Replacement (L92 - Second Design)  or Intake Manifold Replacement (LY2 and LY6)  or Intake Manifold Replacement (LH6, LMG, LY5 and L76) .
  2. Reposition the brake booster vacuum hose clamp at the intake manifold.
  3. Remove the brake booster vacuum hose from the intake manifold nipple.

  5. Remove the upper intake manifold cover nut.
  6. Remove the upper intake manifold cover.
