Removal Procedure

- Remove the radiator grille. Refer to Radiator Grille Replacement (GMC) or Radiator Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) .
- Remove as much power steering fluid as possible from the power steering fluid reservoir.
- Place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.
- Disconnect the power steering gear outlet hose (2) from the power steering fluid cooler (4).
- Disconnect the power steering fluid cooler hose (3) from the power steering pump (1).
- Remove the power steering fluid cooler bolts (2) from the power steering fluid cooler (1).
- Remove the power steering fluid cooler from the vehicle.
