Washer Pump Replacement (Silverado)

Preliminary Procedures Remove the windshield washer system container. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement . Place the washer container on a bench top and secure. Using two flat-bladed tools, pry gently upward on the pump in order to disengage the pump from the washer container grommet. Discard the grommet.
1	Windshield Washer Pump Tip: Use full strength windshield washer solvent for a lubricant on the pump spout in order to ease the installation of the new washer pump into the new grommet.

Place the washer container on a bench top and secure.
Using two flat-bladed tools, pry gently upward on the pump in order to disengage the pump from the washer container grommet.
Discard the grommet.

Tip: Use full strength windshield washer solvent for a lubricant on the pump spout in order to ease the installation of the new washer pump into the new grommet.
