Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the auxiliary battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (w/Single Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (w/Auxiliary Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (w/Dual Batteries) .
  2. Remove the mega fuse cover.

  4. Remove the starter solenoid cable nut (1) from the fuse stud.
  5. Remove the starter solenoid cable terminal (2) from the fuse stud.

  7. Remove the auxiliary battery positive cable nut (1) from the mega fuse holder.
  8. Remove the generator battery jumper cable to fuse nut (3).
  9. Remove the generator battery jumper cable terminal (2) from the fuse stud.
  10. Remove the auxiliary battery positive cable from the fuse studs.

  12. Remove the upper mega fuse nut (1), if necessary.
  13. Remove the appropriate mega fuse (2).
