Installation Procedure

Install the steering column seal (1) to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the 3 steering column seal nuts (2).
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
Connect the steering shaft coupling to the upper intermediate steering shaft. Refer to Steering Shaft Coupling Replacement .
