Air Temperature Actuator Replacement - Right Side

NOTE: In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module. Preliminary Procedure Remove the inflatable restraint instrument panel module. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL INFLATABLE RESTRAINT MODULE REPLACEMENT (WITH SLT)INSTRUMENT PANEL INFLATABLE RESTRAINT MODULE REPLACEMENT (WITHOUT SLT) . Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temp actuator.
1	Air Temp Actuator Screws (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 1.6 N.m (14 lb in)
2	Air Temp Actuator Procedure: Re-calibrate the air temp actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the inflatable restraint instrument panel module. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL INFLATABLE RESTRAINT MODULE REPLACEMENT (WITH SLT)INSTRUMENT PANEL INFLATABLE RESTRAINT MODULE REPLACEMENT (WITHOUT SLT) .
Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temp actuator.

Air Temp Actuator Screws (Qty: 2)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: 1.6 N.m (14 lb in)

Procedure:
Re-calibrate the air temp actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .
