Preliminary Procedure: Remove the high mounted stop lamp cover assembly. Refer to High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement (Extended and Crew Cab) or High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement (Regular Cab) .
1	High Mounted Stop and Cargo Lamp Opening Cover Screw NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2	High Mounted Stop and Cargo Lamp Opening Cover
3	Cargo Lamp Bulb Tip: Rotate the bulbs a quarter turn counter-clockwise in order to remove the bulbs from the mounting plate.
4	Brake Lamp Bulb Tip: Rotate the bulbs a quarter turn counter-clockwise in order to remove the bulbs from the mounting plate.
