Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Savana Special, 2003 GMC Savana Camper Special, 2003 GMC Savana, 2003 Chevrolet RV Cutaway, and 2003 Chevrolet Cutaway. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the cable (1) to the vehicle.

  2. Route the cable (1) from the cabin into the engine compartment.
  3. Install the cable grommet into the bulkhead.
  4. Install the cable handle (3) to the body.
  5. Install the screws in order to retain the cable handle (3) to the body.
  6. Install the left side hinge pillar trim panel to the body. Refer to TRIM REPLACEMENT - HINGE PILLAR .
  7. Install the cable (1) to the retainer on the radiator support.
  8. Install the cable (1) to the hood latch.
  9. Close the hood.
