Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Savana Special, 2003 GMC Savana Camper Special, 2003 GMC Savana, 2003 Chevrolet RV Cutaway, and 2003 Chevrolet Cutaway. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the air inlet grille panels to the vehicle.
  2. Align the retainers in the body with the tabs on the grille panel. Press the retainers into place.
  3. Connect the washer hoses to the air inlet grille panel.
  4. Install the wiper arms to the vehicle. Refer to WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT .
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  5. Install the screws in sequential order 1-7, to retain the air inlet grille panels to the cowl vent.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws in sequential order to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in).

  6. Close the hood.
