Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT - LEFT for the left knee bolster panel or KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT - RIGHT for the right panel.
  2. Gently pull the hinge pillar trim panel in order to release the retaining clips.
  3. Remove the hinge pillar trim from the vehicle.
  4. Inspect the hinge pillar trim panel for broken or missing retaining clips. Replace the retaining clips as needed.
