Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Savana Special, 2003 GMC Savana Camper Special, 2003 GMC Savana, 2003 Chevrolet RV Cutaway, and 2003 Chevrolet Cutaway. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Remove the screws retaining the fuel filter pipe to the body.
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
Use jack stands in order to support the body of the vehicle.
Release the brake line retainers closest to the first body mount (2) in order to ensure that the brake lines will not bend when you lower the frame.

Loosen all the body mount bolts (5). Do not remove the bolts.

Remove the bolt (5) from the body mount.
Lower the frame slightly.
Remove the body mount from the frame.
