Removal Procedure

  1. Park the wiper arms.
  2. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement  .

  3. Remove the air inlet grille panels (1,2). Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .

  4. Remove the wiper motor module assembly. Refer to Wiper Motor Module Replacement  .

  5. Disconnect the wiper transmission (2) from the wiper motor crank arm (3) using the J 39232  .
  6. Loosen the wiper motor shaft nut (1).
  7. Tap on the screw with a soft-faced mallet while holding up on the wiper motor crank arm (3) until the wiper motor crank arm is loose on wiper motor shaft.
  8. Remove the nut.
  9. Remove the wiper motor crank arm from the wiper motor shaft.
