Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat belt retractor to the vehicle.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the seat belt retractor retaining bolts to the vehicle.

    Tighten 

    • Tighten the seat belt retractor upper retaining bolt to 52 N.m (38 lb ft).
    • Tighten the seat belt retractor lower retaining bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  3. Install the rear corner garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - REAR CORNER .
  4. Secure the seat belt escutcheon to the rear corner garnish molding.
