Removal Procedure

Important:  Light and Medium duty vans are equipped with seat belt Pretensioners in the front seating positions. Pretensioners are part of the SIR system. Refer to SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER , when servicing a seat belt buckle with a Pretensioner.

  1. Lift the buckle cover.
  2. Remove the seat belt buckle retaining bolt from the seat.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the seat belt buckle, if equipped.
  4. Remove the seat belt buckle from the seat.
