Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the grille assembly. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (UPLEVEL) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (BASE) .
  2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
  3. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines from the auxiliary oil cooler.
  4. Remove the oil cooler lines from the auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement .
  5. Remove the 4 bolts securing the auxiliary oil cooler to the radiator support.
  6. Remove the auxiliary oil cooler.
