Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Savana Special, 2003 GMC Savana Camper Special, 2003 GMC Savana, 2003 Chevrolet RV Cutaway, and 2003 Chevrolet Cutaway. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the power seat switch bracket (2) to the seat cushion frame, if equipped.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the screws (3) to retain the power seat switch bracket.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the bolts (4) retaining the seat cushion frame to the adjuster.
  4. Install the bolts (4) to retain the seat cushion frame to the adjuster.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the bolts (7) to retain the seat cushion frame.
  6. Install the bolts (7).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).

  7. Install the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Front .
  8. Install the front seat into the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement .
