Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  2. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir. Refer to Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement in Engine Cooling .
  3. Remove the suction line nut (1) from the accumulator.
  4. Remove the rear suction line nut (2) if equipped with rear air.
  5. Raise the vehicle.
  6. Remove the suction line bolt from the compressor.
  7. Remove the suction line from the vehicle.
