Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim .
  2. Remove the I/P carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console .
  3. Remove the windshield defrost duct retaining screws at the heater case.
  4. Remove the windshield defrost duct retaining nuts at the cowl.
  5. Remove the windshield defrost duct (5) from the vehicle.
