Park Brake Pedal Assembly: Installation

- Connect the front brake cable to the pedal. Install the pedal to the vehicle. Install the pedal retaining nuts and tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the left floor air outlet duct. Install the left side kick panel. Install the release handle. See PARK BRAKE RELEASE HANDLE .
- Enable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. See PARK BRAKE CABLE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER under ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTIONS.
- Verify that the vehicle will hold position with the brake pedal depressed. If additional adjustments need to be made, see PARK BRAKE ADJUSTMENT in PARK BRAKE SYSTEM under ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTIONS.
