Removal (Intermediate)

- Release the park brake. Disable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. See PARK BRAKE CABLE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER .
- Raise and support the vehicle. For passenger and cargo vehicles, disconnect the intermediate cable from the front and rear park brake cables.
- For cutaway vehicles, disconnect the intermediate cable from the front and rear park brake cables, passing the it through the cable guide. Remove the intermediate cable from the vehicle.
