Hydraulic Brake Booster: Installation

  1. Install the gasket. Install the booster assembly. Install the 4 booster to bulkhead nuts and tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Install the stoplight switch. See STOPLIGHT SWITCH  . Install the master cylinder. See MASTER CYLINDER  .
  3. Connect the power brake booster outlet hose, the steering gear inlet hose, and the power brake booster inlet hose. Tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Bleed the hydraulic booster system. See BLEEDING HYDRAULIC BRAKE BOOSTER  .
  5. Release the park brake and unblock the wheels.
