Brake Pedal Assembly: Installation

  1. Install the brake pedal. Install the bolt holding the brake pedal assembly to the cowl. Tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Install the nuts to the brake pedal bracket in the sequence shown. Tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Install the pushrod and the stoplight switch to the brake pedal pin. See Figure . Install the pushrod retaining clip. Connect the electrical connector to the stoplight switch.
