Action Taken When the DTC Sets

DTC P0881 is a Type C DTC.
If the DTC sets with the transmission in a forward range, the transmission will shift to first, third or fifth gear. If the transmission was in reverse, the transmission will shift to reverse or neutral.
The TCM inhibits torque converter clutch (TCC) engagement.
Maximum line pressure is commanded.
